Parton rescattering and gluon saturation in dijet production at EIC

Large angle gluon radiations induced by multiple parton scatterings contribute to dijet production in deeply inelastic scattering off a large nucleus at the electron-ion collider. Within generalized high-twist approach scattering, contributions leading order and twist four perturbative QCD Bjorken momentum fraction ${x}_{B}$ can be expressed as convolution of amplitudes transverse dependent (TMD) two-parton correlation matrix elements. We study this medium-induced spectrum its azimuthal under approximation small longitudinal transfer secondary factorization elements product quark TMD distribution function (PDF). Contributions cross section from double are power suppressed only become sizable for minijets momentum. find that total these minijets, which also includes contribution single is sensitive broadening PDF $x$ saturation inside nucleus. The found increase with rapidity gap have quadratic nuclear-size dependence because Landau-Pomeranchuk-Migdal interference emission scattering. Experimental measurements such unique features shed light on strong interaction nuclei.
